Introduction

Our building, Hallam House, is a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse dating from 1751. Situated in the centre of Sheffield, it was refurbished in 2000 and formally opened by the Minister for Trade.

We offer a number of classically elegant and simple contemporary workspaces useful for many purposes including:

The perfect environment for your conference, meeting, training course or similar event. Very conveniently located being a three minute walk from the heart of the city and the railway station. Secure easily accessible parking is available nearby. As a technology based training and consultancy company we are able to offer outstanding IT and communications facilities to augment our beautifully appointed building.

Originally a family home and later converted to a metal workshop the building was restored and formally opened, as Hallam House, by Richard Caborn MP in 2000. It is a 'Building Of Note' within the Cultural Industries Quarter (CIQ). It's history includes numerous visits (to Sheffield!!!) by the FA Cup which was buffed (polished) here annually prior to presentation at Wembley.

Rooms

All of our rooms are naturally well lit with large windows and blinds. Dimmable halogen lighting is provided as are WiFi and Category 5 cabling for Internet connectivity.

We currently have three rooms for hire:

Mayfield Suite

A large and inviting first-floor meeting area. A Georgian period fireplace with wooden mantelpiece and individually controlled sets of lighting gives this spacious room an elegant and atmospheric ambience.

The Mayfield Suite as two ring mains and Category 5 LAN cabling.

Green Room

A medium sized meeting room with numerous period features including the original fireplace. Situated on the first floor it is well lit and airy with a vaulted ceiling and exposed woodwork.

It is entered via an ante-room which also contains many features and a fireplace. The ante-room is of a similar size and is available for a number of uses including a breakout and buffet area.

Courtyard Room

A medium sized presently fixed layout IT suite with large cable managed desks. The room has high ceilings and is situated on the ground floor with good natural lighting.

A door leads to the stone flagged furnished courtyard which, weather permitting, provides a pleasant retreat.
